Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nero Sabu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Odin Valknut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sabu comes to the cage accompanied by The Enemy . The crowd seem to be enjoying Valknut's choice of entrance music: Hail Odin. Nero Sabu has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nero Sabu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Odin Valknut!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valknut throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sabu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sabu slips a straight right by Valknut.
Valknut scores with a jab to the body.
Sabu gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Valknut counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Valknut scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sabu is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Valknut slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Valknut throws an overhand right that lands on Sabu's shoulder, as Sabu tries to avoid the shot.
Valknut sizes up Sabu with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Oooooh!!! Valknut has knocked Sabu down with a huge combo! Valknut steps away and waves a wobbly Sabu back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Sabu gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Valknut.
Sabu takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Valknut lands with a shot to the body.
Valknut connects with a body shot.
Sabu on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Valknut misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sabu.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Valknut lands a left and a right that send Sabu crashing to the mat, dazed. Valknut thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Valknut drops Sabu with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sabu looks back up at him and smiles so Valknut waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Sabu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Valknut.
Valknut digs a good hook to Sabu's body.
Valknut punishes Sabu's body with a nice straight punch.
Sabu takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Valknut just misses with a punch to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Valknut throws a shot to the body.
Sabu has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sabu there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Valknut drops Sabu with a naaaaasty hook - Sabu is in real trouble here! Valknut dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Odin Valknut!
