Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russell Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vincent Zero has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Zero counters with a stiff right hand.
Vincent Zero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Jones misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Zero counter with a right hand.
Zero scores with a hook to the body. Jones takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Jones misses with a wild combination.
Zero throws an off balance right hand
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Zero ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away.
Zero throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jones tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Zero is in Jones's guard.
Jones wants to get back to his feet but Zero is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Zero with a nice head shot there.
Zero with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Zero throwing strikes from guard but Jones blocks nicely.

Jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Zero throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Zero working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Zero in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Zero distracts Jones with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Zero stays in close to Jones's body and controls the position.
Zero throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Jones keeping moving, preventing Zero from controlling successfully.

Zero wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
No joy there for Zero, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Zero. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Jones counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Vincent Zero has been cut.
Zero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.
Zero misses with a wild body shot.
Zero thows a leg kick but Jones checks it
enabling Jones to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jones throws a jab when Zero was well out of range.
Jones throws a head kick that misses.
Zero looks to score with a jab to the body but Jones is just out of range.
Zero stuns Jones with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Zero misses with a lunging right hand
and Jones counters with a body kick that stops Zero in his tracks momentarily.
Jones misses the shot to the body.
Jones looks to land a combination. Zero sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Zero looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zero missing with a left hand there. Jones was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Zero avoids the head kick by Jones.
Zero fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zero circles away quickly and effectively.
Zero blocks a head kick by Jones.
Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zero swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jones counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Zero badly! He tries to strike back but Jones puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Zero out cold! Oh man, Zero will never hear the end of this one!
