da Silva tries to keep at a distance but Hazelwood has taken the fight into the clinch.

Hazelwood got a little sloppy there for a moment and da Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hazelwood has managed to get both his arms back between da Silva's legs - danger averted.

da Silva wants to improve his position but Hazelwood is controlling well.

Hazelwood changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. da Silva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hazelwood wants to take a breather but da Silva is having none of it.

da Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hazelwood doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hazelwood manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hazelwood wants to get up but he can't break da Silva's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hazelwood shoots in and bounces da Silva off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

da Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hazelwood gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hazelwood stands up and beckons da Silva to his feet.

da Silva has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Hazelwood. Oh but da Silva has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Hazelwood goes limp - he's gone! da Silva jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
