Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wagon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jacobs did well to prevent Wagon getting side control.

Wagon is working for a kimura but Jacobs is defending it quite comfortably.

Jacobs is defending against the submission attempts here by Wagon.

Wagon seems to be looking for submissions.
Wagon wants to pass to mount but Jacobs is defending the position.
Jacobs is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wagon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wagon's back!
Wagon breaks Jacobs's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Jacobs manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wagon manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Jacobs is looking to work some ground and pound but Wagon has wrist control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Wagon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jacobs doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jacobs manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Wagon has momentary wrist control but Jacobs slips an elbow through the middle.

Jacobs stands up from Wagon's guard - Jacobs perhaps looking for a knockout.

Jacobs shoots in and bounces Wagon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Wagon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wagon misses with a head shot. Jacobs uses the momentum to regain guard.
Wagon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jacobs swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jacobs lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wagon!

Wagon tries to lock up and control but Jacobs gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Jacobs lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The referee warns Wagon that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Wagon is trying desperately to improve position.

Jacobs postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Wagon looks a forlorn figure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wagon is looking to get to half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wagon takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Jacobs's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
