Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Scarpa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scarpa is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: TATANKA THEME. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scarpa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wright's waist but Wright gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Scarpa off to one side.
Wright checks a leg kick.
Tony Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wright lands a big uppercut and Scarpa crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Scarpa looks OK. Wright waves Scarpa back to his feet!

It looks like Joe Scarpa has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wright has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Wright ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Scarpa moves away.
Scarpa leaves his chin hanging out and Wright seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Scarpa crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
