Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommi Homelite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruslan Platunov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Homelite comes to the cage accompanied by Karpaasi on jätkä raju. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Homelite throws a jab but it's blocked by Platunov.
Homelite tries to close the distance and clinch but Platunov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Platunov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Homelite looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Platunov is working to tighten is grip on Homelite's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Homelite has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Platunov is really squeezing tight and eventually Homelite passes out! Platunov breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
