Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Piroco Murcho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riley Freeman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Piroco Murcho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Riley Freeman!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Freeman scores with a nice strike.
Murcho moves forwards but Freeman connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Freeman throws a hook to the side of Murcho's head but Murcho sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Freeman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Murcho doesn't seem bothered though.
Freeman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Freeman wants it to stay on the feet.
Murcho takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Freeman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Murcho manages to avoid it.

Freeman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Murcho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Murcho is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Freeman has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Murcho is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Freeman to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Freeman shrugs it off.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Murcho swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Freeman is now in Murcho's guard. A big mistake from Murcho there, giving up the dominant position!

Murcho stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Freeman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Piroco Murcho will probably get the nod.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Piroco Murcho.

Murcho wants to take a breather but Freeman is having none of it.

Murcho has hold of Freeman's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Freeman manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Murcho is on top in guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Murcho, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
