Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nobunaga Shirow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Racka Lamb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Racka Lamb is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Lamb.
Lamb throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Racka Lamb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lamb closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Decent striking displayed by Shirow there.
Lamb throws a series of punches but Shirow avoids them all with ease.
Lamb looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Shirow bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Shirow slips under a jab.
Shirow swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lamb tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lamb jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Shirow lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lamb circles away quickly and effectively.

It looks like Nobunaga Shirow has been cut.

Shirow throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lamb was covering up waiting for the punch and Shirow finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Shirow drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lamb manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Shirow has Lamb in his guard.
Lamb is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shirow is trying to keep Lamb in close.
Lamb controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Shirow looking for a sweep. Not yet Shirow, not yet.
Lamb looking to sit in guard and control but Shirow gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Lamb lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Shirow!

Shirow is bucking up trying to escape but Lamb cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Racka Lamb has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Lamb throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nice sprawl there from Lamb as Shirow shoots in.
Shirow misses with a looping left.
Shirow tries a head kick but it misses.
Lamb pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lamb throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Lamb slips a jab from Shirow.
Lamb stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lamb throws a hook but Shirow avoids it easily.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Shirow takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lamb takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Lamb throws a right hand that Shirow ducks under and follows up with a left that Shirow also avoids with ease.

Shirow feints and as Lamb raises his hands in defense, Shirow changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Shirow lands a couple of digs.
Lamb is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Shirow trying to control but Lamb is working from the bottom.
Lamb looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Shirow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lamb swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Shirow drops back looking for a leg! Lamb is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lamb manages to kick Shirow off! Shirow jumps back into Lamb's guard.

Shirow postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lamb is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shirow, into his guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Lamb works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lamb in particular looking to stall.

Lamb scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Shirow doesn't seem bothered though.

Lamb fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shirow manages to avoid it.
Shirow slips under a jab.
Lamb stalks Shirow and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Shirow's face. Shirow staggers backwards, shaken.
Lamb lands with a nice combination. Shirow backs away looking to recover.
Racka Lamb seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Shirow throws a series of punches but Lamb moves out of range.
Lamb looks to land a combination. Shirow sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Shirow is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shirow swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Oh Shirow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lamb circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Shirow to the canvas! Shirow doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Lamb keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
