Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael The Count (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think The Count might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The streets don't love you no more!!!. BJ Penn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Penn shoots in for a takedown but The Count shows good takedown defense.
Penn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says The Count as he avoids it easily.
Michael The Count has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BJ Penn.

Penn looks for a takedown but The Count sprawls well.
Penn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Penn on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Penn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. The Count defends it nicely.
Penn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
BJ Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Penn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Penn is defended easily by The Count.

The Count scores with a shot to the body.
Penn throws a low kick but The Count moves out of range easily.
Penn takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The Count catches Penn with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Penn shoots in looking for a takedown. The Count tries to sprawl out of it but Penn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. The Count manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Penn looks gassed!
Penn shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Penn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The Count moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The Count scores with a jab to the head.
Penn fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
The Count connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The Count is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Penn with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling The Count to score with a decent uppercut.

Penn takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The Count tests Penn's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The Count lands the left hand.
The Count jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The Count dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for The Count.
Penn is trying desperately to land a takedown but The Count is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Penn.
The Count fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The Count throws an overhand right that drops Penn like a sack of potatoes! The Count dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
