Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
diaz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
diaz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pool stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from diaz.
Pool takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Pool is looking to clinch.
diaz connects with a nice looking jab.
diaz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pool eats them both and turns towards diaz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A punch combination from diaz misses.

diaz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pool was covering up waiting for the punch and diaz finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Pool being controlled here, momentarily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
diaz chips away with some ground and pound.
diaz is pushing down on Pool's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pool is fighting to maintain full guard but diaz has managed to sneak the leg through.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice strikes from diaz there.

diaz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pool sees it coming and defends easily.
diaz content to control rather than advance.
diaz landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

diaz maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Pool could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but diaz has cracked it and Pool is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by diaz!
