The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards looks to throw the jab but Smith is out of range.
Smith plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Nathaniel Edwards has been cut.
A bone on bone clash there as Smith blocks the leg kick.
Some wild striking there from Edwards.
Edwards avoids the body shot from Smith.

Smith takes the fight into the clinch.
Edwards drops down looking for an ankle pick but Smith pulls his leg out and moves away.
Smith throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Smith is looking to clinch but Edwards is avoiding it.

and Edwards counters with a crisp one two that drops Smith! Edwards thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Smith to his feet! Smith is in big trouble!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Edwards lands a body shot.
No joy there for Edwards, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Edwards takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Smith misses with a head kick.
Edwards checks a leg kick nicely.

Edwards gets tackled into the cage by Smith. Smith maintains the clinch.
Edwards has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Smith avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Smith tries to land knees in the clinch but Edwards avoids the damage to the body.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Edwards changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Smith fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jordan Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathaniel Edwards.

Smith cracks Edwards with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
