Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lloyd Woodard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pawel Potter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lloyd Woodard!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Woodard is nestled in close to Potter, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Woodard looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Potter has hold of Woodard's hands but Woodard slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Woodard connects with a nice short shot to Potter's temple.

Potter sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Woodard's guard.

Woodard has a hand on Potter's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Potter takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Potter swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Woodard is now in Potter's guard. A big mistake from Potter there, giving up the dominant position!

I would just about give that final round to Lloyd Woodard.
Well Woodard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
