Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solo Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jethro Tull kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Solo Green is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Green looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Xavier is fending him off so far but Green persists. Nope, Xavier circles away and we're back to standing.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Green is defended easily by Xavier.
Green takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Xavier throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Green looks to land a left hand but Xavier moved out of range nicely.
Xavier throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Green's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Xavier dives in looking to finish as Green flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Xavier's strikes! Xavier is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Green's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Green was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
