Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Streder!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Streder feints and as Smith raises his hands in defense, Streder changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Streder must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Streder closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Smith did well to prevent Streder getting side control.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Streder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Smith sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Smith takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Smith manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Streder manages to get himself to full guard.

Well Streder has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
