The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The fight stays on the outside here - Zangief looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That kick from Stone tenderised Zangief's leg. Zangief is trying to keep his angry face on.

Zangief clinches with his opponent.
Stone tries to circle away but Zangief has him pinned against the cage.
Stone is trying to break the clinch but Zangief is controlling him.
Zangief tries for a takedown but Stone manages to get underhooks.
Zangief lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Zangief has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Stone avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Jack Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zangief Zangief.
Stone wants to get back to striking at distance but Zangief won't allow it.

Zangief is controlling Stone's posture.

Jack Stone has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Stone connects with a single shot there.

Zangief doesn't manage to clinch there - Stone circles away.
Zangief moves in looking to clinch but Stone pushes him off.
Zangief fails in his attempt to clinch.
Zangief tries to clinch up but Stone circles away and keeps his distance.
Stone bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A right-left combo lands from Stone.

It looks like Zangief Zangief has been cut.
Zangief tries to clinch but Stone is having none of it.
Zangief changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stone tries to avoid it but Zangief manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stone to the ground. Stone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Stone scores with a one two! Zangief had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Stone feints a jab promting Zangief to slip. Stone then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Zangief slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Stone lands with a hook. Zangief tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Stone connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Stone connects with an inside leg kick.
Zangief looks gassed!

Stone lands a jab to the nose.
Zangief is still on wobbly legs! Can Stone finish him?
Zangief takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Zangief seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stone connects with a jab.
Stone lands a nice hook to Zangief's body. Zangief takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
