Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Lerppa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexis Sherki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sherki is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rise Against - Prayer of the Refugee . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherki misses with a body kick.
Lerppa with a lazy takedown attempt
and Sherki counters with a big head kick but Lerppa shrugs it off.
Sherki throws a leg kick that misses.
Lerppa with a poor takedown
and Sherki counters with a left and a right that stings Lerppa.
Lerppa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sherki tries to avoid it but Lerppa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sherki to the ground. Sherki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keijo Lerppa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lerppa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sherki circles away.
Lerppa shoots in looking for a takedown but Sherki manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lerppa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Sherki gets caught flat footed, as Lerppa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lerppa content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Sherki is looking for a triangle but Lerppa pushes his legs off easily.

Lerppa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lerppa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lerppa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sherki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lerppa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lerppa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lerppa is working Sherki over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Lerppa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lerppa drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Lerppa seems to have locked his on tight now - Sherki screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Lerppa, as he picks up the win!
