The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blonksy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Blonksy tries to bum rush Uzi with a series of wild strikes but Uzi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Blonksy wants to clinch up but Uzi keeps it at a distance.

Blonksy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Blonksy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Uzi paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Uzi swats away the attempt to clinch by Blonksy.
Blonksy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blonksy tries to clinch up but Uzi circles away and keeps his distance.

Emil Blonksy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Uzi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Blonksy dives in and grabs Uzi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Uzi pushes down on Blonksy's head and hops out.
Blonksy misses with a hook. Uzi ducked under it nicely.
Blonksy doesn't manage to clinch there - Uzi circles away.

Uzi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Blonksy did well to prevent Uzi getting side control.
Uzi drops an elbow to the side of Blonksy's head.
Uzi scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

It looks like Emil Blonksy has been cut.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Uzi lands a big elbow - Blonksy is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Uzi!
