The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
black fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Peter Travik has been cut.
Travik tries to clinch but black moves out of range.
black jabs Travik right on the nose. Travik blinks but takes it well.
Sloppy strikes from black. Those never looked like landing.
Travik gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and black counters with a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Travik doesn't manage to clinch there - black circles away.
black wants to clinch up but Travik keeps it at a distance.
black scores with a hook to the body. Travik takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
black misses with a wild combination.
black lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Travik circles away quickly and effectively.
black scores with a nice right hand.
black throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Travik.
black throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
black throws a series of punches but Travik moves out of range.
black connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That has opened up Peter Travik's cut even more.
black closes the distance and pushes Travik back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Travik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Travik throws a solid leg kick but black takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Travik.
black misses with a double jab.
black lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Travik tries to clinch but fails miserably
and black counters with a straight right hand.
Travik is rocked!
The cut above Peter Travik's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Travik shoots and misses
and black counters with a huge left! Travik is in big trouble! He's backing up but black isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Travik from any more damage. A dominating finish by black!
