PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Augusto Pinochet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henry has chosen Tear the Club Up as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Augusto Pinochet has been cut.

Henry is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Henry postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pinochet is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Henry , into his guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Henry has his foot on Pinochet's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pinochet works his way back into a safe position though.

Henry drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pinochet looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pinochet looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pinochet!

Henry drops back looking for a leg! Pinochet is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pinochet manages to kick Henry off! Henry jumps back into Pinochet's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pinochet is on top in guard.

Henry has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pinochet can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close round but I would say that Augusto Pinochet will probably get the nod.

Henry ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Pinochet pounces like a tiger and cracks Henry with a vicious hook! Henry is down but not out! Pinochet follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
