The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
de Pina misses with a body kick.
giggles tries to clinch but de Pina moves away
and de Pina counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
giggles tries to close the distance and clinch up but de Pina swats him away and circles back towards the center.
giggles fails with the takedown.
de Pina cracks giggles with an open hand slap.
A slapping leg kick lands for de Pina.
de Pina lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
de Pina scores with a hook.
de Pina keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
giggles thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on de Pina if he has to take too many more of those.
giggles moves to clinch but de Pina breaks away
and de Pina counters with a solid body kick.

giggles closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
giggles is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
de Pina sizes up giggles with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
de Pina throws a low kick but it's checked well by giggles.
giggles misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
giggles tries to clinch there but de Pina circles away.
de Pina misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
giggles moves forwards but de Pina connects with a nice, crisp jab.

giggles takes a shot to the body in his stride.
de Pina is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! giggles had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

and de Pina counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

giggles is rocked!
de Pina lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens giggles up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs de Pina from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw giggles's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
