Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Julian Sandar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Raphael Eachann!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eachann shoots in looking for a takedown. Sandar tries to sprawl out of it but Eachann keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sandar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Eachann misses with a takedown attempt - Sandar sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Sandar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Eachann's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Sandar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sandar.

Eachann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sandar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Eachann might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sandar kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Eachann is keen to just control but Sandar is a slippery customer.

Sandar is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Eachann frees his head nicely. Oh but Sandar has switched to an armbar! Eachann is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
