The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chidell takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Chidell misses with a hook
letting Akiyama counter with a right hand.
Chidell throws a lazy uppercut
and Akiyama counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Chidell lands a big shot that drops Akiyama! Can he finish him?
Akiyama is rocked!
It looks like Yoshihiro Akiyama has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chidell gets to his feet - Akiyama follows without any prompting.
Akiyama is still on wobbly legs! Can Chidell finish him?
Chidell throws a nice looking combination but Akiyama bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Chidell grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Akiyama takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Chidell cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
