Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Happy Brusko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Happy Brusko looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hopkins drives through and clinches with Brusko against the cage.
Brusko blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Brusko wants a takedown but no success here.
Hopkins leaning his opponent against the cage.
Hopkins lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Brusko backwards.
Brusko tries to score a body lock takedown but Hopkins shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Brusko decides to pull guard.
Hopkins postures up in Brusko's guard and throws a big left but Brusko blocks it.

Brusko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hopkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hopkins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hopkins is looking to work some ground and pound but Brusko has wrist control.

Hopkins wants to get up but he can't break Brusko's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hopkins postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Brusko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hopkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brusko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hopkins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Nice takedown defense from Hopkins. No joy for Brusko on that attempt.

Brusko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hopkins pinned against the cage. Hopkins gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Brusko walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Brusko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hopkins as he avoids it easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Brusko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Brusko drops back looking for a leg! Hopkins is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hopkins manages to kick Brusko off! Brusko jumps back into Hopkins's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brusko is looking to take a break and control but Hopkins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hopkins throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Brusko walks straight into a right hand from Hopkins - that's dropped him! Hopkins jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Brusko from any more punishment! Brusko complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
