The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua with a lazy takedown attempt
and Lin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Lin counters with a big uppercut that knocks Rua off his feet! Lin dives into side control looking to finish!

Lin is trying to move to mount but Rua reverses beautifully and ends up in Lin's guard.
Rua wants to stand but Lin is controlling his posture from full guard.
Rua really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lin is pushing down on Rua's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rua is fighting to maintain full guard but Lin has managed to sneak the leg through.
Lin is nestled in close to Rua, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Lin sitting in half guard here. He lands a big elbow that has hurt Rua! Oh, Rua is in big trouble! Lin lands more strikes and the ref dives in to save him! The fight is over!
