Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Thiago Silver has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silver goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Rogers misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rogers tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Silver avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rogers lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Silver backs up against the cage.
Silver throws a head kick that half lands.
Rogers has a takedown stuffed.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rogers.
Silver misses with a takedown

and Rogers counters by moving into the clinch.
Silver is looking to control Rogers's arms but Rogers gets an underhook and turns him. Now Silver has his back to the cage.

Rogers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silver tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rogers paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Rogers darts in and clinches Silver up against the cage.
Silver prevents the takedown attempt.

Jimmy Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Silver throws a head kick but Rogers moves out of range.
Silver tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Silver has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rogers is working away from the top position though.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jimmy Rogers hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Silver misses with a takedown attempt - Rogers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Silver turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rogers throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silver.
Silver keeps the fight on the outside.

Rogers shoots in looking for a takedown but Silver manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rogers's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Rogers counters by clinching up.
Silver is breathing heavily.
Rogers fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Silver has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Silver tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rogers swivels and escapes.
Silver checks a low kick from Rogers.

Rogers seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Silver is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
