Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arco Amon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kahlua Zordick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kahlua Zordick!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zordick circles away quickly and effectively.
Zordick dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Amon. That did some damage!

Zordick tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Amon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Zordick pivots, looking for a leg kick but Amon is out of range and Zordick settles back down.
Amon throws out a loose jab but Zordick uses good head movement to avoid it.
Amon misses the shot to the body.
Zordick slips a straight right by Amon.

and Amon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Amon counters with a solid body kick.
Zordick doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Amon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Zordick thinking.

Zordick drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Zordick jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Zordick wants to pass the guard but Amon is keeping the position.

Zordick thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Amon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zordick on the ground.

Zordick decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Amon connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Zordick avoids the body shot from Amon.
Amon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Zordick counters with a single leg into guard. Amon didn't expect that.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Zordick decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Amon, up you get!
Zordick moves to clinch but Amon breaks away
and Amon counters with a series of strikes. Zordick will be more careful next time no doubt.

Arco Amon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kahlua Zordick.

and Amon counters with a stiff right hand.
Zordick attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Amon cracks Zordick with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Amon tries to break free but Zordick pushes him back against the cage.

Zordick fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Amon tries to pull guard but Zordick won't allow it.
Zordick jumps guard but Amon stands there with Zordick around his waist. Zordick gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Amon gets control of Zordick's arms and successfully pulls guard. Amon will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Amon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zordick gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Amon is breathing heavily.

Zordick is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Zordick stands and steps away. Amon gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Amon counters with a right hand to the body.

and Amon counters with a nice kick to the body.
Amon lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Zordick at a distance.
Amon is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Zordick fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Amon checks it well.
Amon throws a looping overhand right but Zordick ducks down to avoid it.
