Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Schmuckatelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corliss Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schmuckatelli comes to the cage accompanied by PANTERA COWBOYS FROM HELL. Johnson has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Joe Schmuckatelli has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Schmuckatelli drives through and clinches with Johnson against the cage.
Johnson looks gassed!
Schmuckatelli lands an uppercut.

Schmuckatelli escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Schmuckatelli waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Johnson. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Johnson to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Johnson is rocked!
Schmuckatelli slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Schmuckatelli fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Johnson sprawls well initially but Schmuckatelli persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Schmuckatelli will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Schmuckatelli throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely.
Good leg kick by Schmuckatelli there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

It looks like Corliss Johnson has been cut.
Johnson is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Schmuckatelli lands a big shot there that rocks Johnson but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Schmuckatelli cracks Johnson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
