Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gabriel Francisco !

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francisco defending well as Wilcox loads up on a big left hand.

Francisco shoots for a takedown but Wilcox saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Francisco shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Francisco looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Francisco can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wilcox is looking to escape.
Francisco breaks from Wilcox's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Francisco is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Francisco is looking to work his way around to Wilcox's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Francisco has control of Wilcox's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wilcox regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Francisco is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wilcox can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Francisco goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wilcox has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Francisco but great work by Wilcox.
