The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalyagin misses with a hook
and Greyven connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Greyven uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kalyagin.
Greyven misses with a lunging right hand
and Kalyagin counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Greyven falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kalyagin counters with a right hand to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kalyagin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Greyven tries to clinch up but Kalyagin circles away and keeps his distance.
Greyven buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Greyven throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kalyagin throws a poor cross that misses
and Greyven counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kalyagin moves out of range of the body kick from Greyven.
Kalyagin missing with a left hand there. Greyven was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A cross from Kalyagin lands.
It looks like Rennet Greyven has been cut.
A head kick misses from Greyven.

A good leg kick by Kalyagin.
Konstantin Kalyagin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Greyven swings widly with a right hand
and Kalyagin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Greyven is breathing heavily.
Greyven scores with a jab to the jaw.
Kalyagin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Greyven walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Kalyagin lets loose with a powerful body kick. Greyven will feel that in the morning.

Kalyagin scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Rennet Greyven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Greyven walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Rennet Greyven's cut is getting worse.
Greyven walks into a stiff left hand from Kalyagin.
Kalyagin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kalyagin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Greyven. That did some damage!
Kalyagin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rennet Greyven's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Kalyagin lands a nice looking body shot.
Greyven takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kalyagin looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Kalyagin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Greyven momentarily.
Jeez, Rennet Greyven's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rennet Greyven's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
