Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nalle Karhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Banka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kalle Banka was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karhu lands with a good body shot.
Banka gets caught flat footed, as Karhu shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Karhu throws a big right hand that misses.
Karhu is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Karhu won't allow Banka to sweep him here.
Banka not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Karhu not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Karhu seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Banka for as long as he can get away with.
Karhu tries to free his leg and advance position but Banka is retaining full guard.

Banka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Karhu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Karhu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Banka moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Karhu bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Banka throws a right and a left that Karhu avoids nicely.
Karhu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Banka wants to control but Karhu postures up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nalle Karhu has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Karhu closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Karhu looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Karhu perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Karhu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Karhu shoots in and gets a takedown into Banka's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
