Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Okaohose Monuwe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Okaohose Monuwe!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ho swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ho is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
No luck for Monuwe with that takedown attempt.
Ho throws a leg kick but Monuwe sees it coming and checks it nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Monuwe fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Monuwe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Monuwe is defended easily by Ho.
Ricky Ho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Okaohose Monuwe.
Ho throws a nice looking combination but Monuwe bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ricky Ho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ho is looking to clinch.
Nice shot lands for Ho.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Monuwe shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ho sprawls well. Ho wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Monuwe gets slowly back to his feet.

Monuwe checks a leg kick nicely.
Ho scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Nice uppercut lands for Ho. That snapped Monuwe's head back.
Ho throws a combination. Monuwe tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Ho takes a swing at Monuwe's ribcage but misses.
Ho misses with a two punch combination.
Ho throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Ho scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Monuwe's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ho connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Monuwe scrambles back to his feet.
Ho tries to clinch there but Monuwe circles away.
Monuwe shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ho but Ho pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A left and a right from Ho both land. Nice combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Monuwe keeps the fight on the outside.
Ho misses with a two punch combination.

Monuwe misses with a takedown attempt - Ho sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ho looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ho is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Monuwe like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Monuwe from another fist facial!
