Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sen Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nguyen comes to the ring accompanied by "House of the Rising Sun" by the Animals. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reaper waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nguyen.
Nguyen throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like John Reaper has been cut.
Nguyen shoots in but Reaper avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nguyen is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Reaper scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Nguyen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nguyen avoids the body shot from Reaper.
Reaper looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nguyen is fending him off so far but Reaper persists. Nope, Nguyen circles away and we're back to standing.
Nguyen throws out a powerful jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nguyen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Reaper throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That's one minute gone in the round.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Nguyen enables Reaper to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nguyen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Nguyen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Reaper defends it easily.

Nguyen is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Reaper is sitting in close to Nguyen's body. Nguyen has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Reaper is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Reaper is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Nguyen.
