Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bokya Heafy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burrhus Frederic Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heafy comes to the cage accompanied by Becoming The Dragon. Skinner has chosen Land of Confusion-Disturbed as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heafy shoots and misses
and Skinner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Heafy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Skinner napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Skinner is trying to buck Heafy off.
Heafy is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Heafy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Skinner on the ground.
Heafy wants to control but Skinner is keeping him busy.
Skinner is looking to regain half guard here but Heafy keeps moving and retains side control.
Heafy is looking to take a break and control but Skinner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Heafy lands a few punches from side control.
Skinner is not content to let Heafy control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Skinner regains half guard there - taking advantage of Heafy's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Heafy is stalling here. Skinner is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Heafy seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Skinner has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Heafy is looking for a sweep.

Heafy tries to buck Skinner off but Skinner is having none of it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Heafy tries to escape but Skinner is in control.
Heafy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Skinner wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Skinner working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Heafy is not content to let Skinner control the position.

Heafy is looking for a sweep.
Skinner lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Heafy down.
Skinner grinds an elbow into Heafy's temple.
Heafy pushes Skinner away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Skinner gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Heafy is breathing heavily.
Skinner trying to control the position but Heafy is working away.

Heafy takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Heafy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Heafy tries to get out of the position.

Skinner is trying to get an arm triangle but Heafy is defending well.
Heafy is looking to reverse the position.

Skinner is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Heafy has escaped the position, nice work there.

Heafy throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Skinner wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Heafy, who protects the arm well.

Skinner is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Heafy looks calm but he's in trouble here. Skinner gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Heafy is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Skinner lets go of the hold and Heafy can pop his arm back in it's socket.
