Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Skippy McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeshi Yuudai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Skippy McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Takeshi Yuudai!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee with a lazy takedown attempt
and Yuudai counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McGee has his takedown stuffed
and Yuudai counters with a straight right hand.
Yuudai throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McGee tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Yuudai is in McGee's guard.
Yuudai slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yuudai has hold of McGee's arm. He's looking for a kimura. McGee seems comfortable defending it but Yuudai has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! McGee is real pain and he's forced to tap out! McGee is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Yuudai couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Takeshi Yuudai!
