Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Scott McIntyre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Silver Haze!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haze misses with a takedown
and McIntyre counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McIntyre shoots and misses

and Haze counters with a single leg into guard. McIntyre didn't expect that.
Haze is looking to advance position but McIntyre has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

McIntyre is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Haze has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Haze!
Haze stands up out of McIntyre's guard for a moment - McIntyre manages to land a nice upkick.
McIntyre knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Haze on the ground.
Haze trying to control but McIntyre is working from the bottom.
Haze is looking to work some ground and pound but McIntyre has wrist control.
Haze postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Haze stopping the sweep attempt from McIntyre.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Haze looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Haze trying to control but McIntyre is working from the bottom.
McIntyre bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Haze's guard.
McIntyre tries to free his leg and advance position but Haze is retaining full guard.
Haze controlling the position.
McIntyre wanted to stand there but Haze had control of the position.
Haze is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Haze is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Silver Haze was stalling too much, according to the referee.
McIntyre gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Haze counters with a takedown into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Haze wants to control but McIntyre is keeping him busy.
McIntyre is looking for a sweep.
McIntyre is working hard here to advance position.
Haze throws a strike aimed at the side of McIntyre's head but McIntyre avoids it well.
Haze postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
McIntyre takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Haze tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
McIntyre dodges the ground and pound from Haze.
McIntyre is not content to let Haze control the position.
Haze throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Haze has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Haze has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Haze moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, McIntyre has worked his arm free - good work by McIntyre!

Haze is trying to get an arm triangle but McIntyre is defending well.
McIntyre tries to improve position but can't.

Haze decides to take the fight back to the feet.
McIntyre is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
McIntyre doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Haze counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott McIntyre. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Haze stops McIntyre from standing up.
Haze scoring with some ground and pound.

Haze drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Haze seems to have locked his on tight now - McIntyre screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Haze, as he picks up the win!
