Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Warren Train!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Garcia Vega!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Train misses.
Train bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Vega avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vega slips a straight right by Train.
Vega misses with a hook. Train ducked under it nicely.
Vega thuds his right hand into Train's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A slow jab from Vega misses its intended target.
Train takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Vega moves out of range of the strikes.
Vega throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Train thows a left - swing and a miss!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vega shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Vega was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Vega tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vega takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
A nice elbow there by Vega.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Warren Train will probably get the nod.

Train fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vega looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Vega avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Train counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Train digs a good body shot into Vega's ribs.

Train takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Train counters with a good low kick that Vega was not able to check.

The fighters circle momentarily. Vega darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Vega shoots in and bounces Train off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Vega sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Train's guard.

Train tries a head kick but it misses.
Train displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vega throws out the jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vega, as that shot connected.
Vega fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Train takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Vega changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Train looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vega has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Train tries to clinch but Vega moves out of range.

Vega ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Train moves away.
Vega swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Train just misses with a punch to the body.
Train looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Vega misses with a straight left.
Vega misses with a looping right.
Vega staying out of range there.
Train tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vega paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Vega loads up on a big right hand but Train slips the punch.
Vega looks to throw the jab but Train is out of range.
Garcia Vega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vega throws a shot from downtown. Train moves away and avoids it.

and Vega counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Vega.

Vega is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Train tries to buck Vega off but Vega is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Garcia Vega showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Vega looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Train is fending him off so far but Vega persists. Nope, Train circles away and we're back to standing.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Train.
Train tries to close the distance and clinch but Vega swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Warren Train.
I think Train has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
