Goines comes to the cage accompanied by Neon Genesis Evangelion - Eva Goes Mental AMV. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Band throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Goines counters with a straight right hand.
A jab from Band misses.
Goines ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Band moves away.
Band with a nice cross.
Band fails to land with a series of punches.
Goines throws an off balance right hand

so Band counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Goines wants to sweep here but Band controlling him for the moment.
Band landing with the ground and pound.

Band drops back looking for a leg! Goines is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Goines manages to kick Band off! Band jumps back into Goines's guard.

Band avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Band wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Goines's closed guard. He's half up but Goines has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Goines pivots and extends the arm, Band falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Goines! Well done that man!
