Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Beta.
Beta closes the distance but Scolar moves to the side
letting Scolar counter with a right hand.
Scolar throws a right hand that misses

and Beta counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Scolar's guard now.
Beta is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Beta's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We're going to have a standup here because Dog Beta wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Beta closes the distance and clinches.
Scolar tries to break the clinch but Beta is controlling the position.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Beta.

Scolar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Scolar scores with a nice head shot.
Beta tries for a takedown but Scolar circles away easily
and Scolar counters with a one-two to the body.
Beta shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Scolar as he jumps to the side.
Beta shoots and misses
and Scolar counters with a straight right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dog Beta. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Scolar smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Beta closes the distance but Scolar moves to the side
and Scolar comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Beta stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Scolar is on him like rabid pit bull! Beta slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
