Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chico Grande (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grande comes to the cage accompanied by Maestre - Calles De Medellín . Tiago Silva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grande swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Silva to counter with a crisp jab.
Grande throws a leg kick that misses.

Grande walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Silva checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Silva darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Silva is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Grande defends it well.
Silva tries to pass the half guard into mount. Grande knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Grande knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Silva content to control rather than advance.

Silva is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Silva is nestled in close to Grande, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Silva lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Silva lands a big shot there that rocks Grande but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

BOOM! Silva connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Silva unloads with some shots from mount but Grande bucks and avoids them well.
Grande is breathing heavily.

A slow jab from Silva misses its intended target.
Grande moves out of range of the strikes.
Grande looks to land a combination. Silva sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Grande works over Silva's head and body with a nice combination.
Grande throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Grande throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Silva counters with a nice uppercut.
Silva throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Grande sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Grande misses with a double jab
and Silva cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Silva waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Grande. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Grande to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Grande is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Silva drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Silva as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Grande screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Silva! Nice submission victory there!
