Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justin Kinlaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Bingham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kinlaw's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Numb-Linkin Park. Justin Kinlaw has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin Kinlaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roger Bingham!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinlaw keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Kinlaw tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kinlaw throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bingham shoots in and bounces Kinlaw off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Bingham postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kinlaw is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bingham, into his guard.
Bingham is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Bingham is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kinlaw's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kinlaw's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they both work up against the meshing.

Kinlaw depends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Bingham's arms.

Bingham has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kinlaw has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Kinlaw wants to escape the position but for the time being he's just trying to control the pace.

Kinlaw breaks Bingham's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Bingham is looking for a triangle here but Kinlaw uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bingham is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Kinlaw seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bingham for as long as he can get away with.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Roger Bingham will probably get the nod.

Justin Kinlaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kinlaw tries a low kick but Bingham avoids it.
Kinlaw looks for a takedown but Bingham sprawls well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bingham pushes Kinlaw off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Bingham is trying to keep from getting into a worse position than he's already in but Bingham is working away and isn't letting himself get tied up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Roger Bingham.

and Kinlaw counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kinlaw.
Justin Kinlaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Bingham.

Bingham is looking for a triangle but Kinlaw pushes his legs off easily.

Kinlaw is sitting in close to Bingham's body. Bingham has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kinlaw is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kinlaw is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Bingham.
