Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Cash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roland Reeves!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cash fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cash tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reeves sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cash somewhat.
Cash shoots in and drives through. Reeves sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Cash. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cash avoids the head kick by Reeves.
Reeves misses with a takedown

and Cash counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Reeves has a hand on Cash's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Cash takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Reeves tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Reeves is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Cash wants to control the pace but Reeves is squirming around nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cash is really struggling to control Reeves but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Reeves is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Cash trying to control but Reeves is having none of it.

Cash is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Reeves is surviving well by controlling Cash's body position as best he can.

Cash looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reeves is looking to improve his position but Cash isn't that keen on the idea.

Cash moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Reeves has worked his arm free - good work by Reeves!
Reeves wants to get back to his feet.
You can see the frustration on Reeves's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cash is looking to take a break and control but Reeves is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Cash is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Reeves knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Cash is breathing heavily.

Cash is trying to get an arm triangle but Reeves is defending well.
Reeves can't do much from the bottom here.

Cash wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reeves, who protects the arm well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Reeves manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Reeves in particular looking to stall.
Reeves's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Reeves lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Cash dominated that round.
That's time! Cash's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Reeves drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Reeves lying in Cash's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Cash decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Reeves taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jon Cash!
