Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Mallon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mallon's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, im not afraid. John Silver will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Mallon might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Silver ducks straight into an uppercut from Mallon and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Silver manages to regain guard straight away.

Mallon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Silver's guard.
Silver seems to have recovered his senses.

Mallon slips a nice elbow through Silver's hands, connecting with Silver's forehead.
Mallon scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mallon is nestled in close to Silver, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Silver has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
