Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bruce Leeroy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vikiing Berserker!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berserker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Leeroy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Berserker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Leeroy sprawls well initially but Berserker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Berserker is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Leeroy reverses the position - he's now on top in Berserker's guard.
Berserker wants to sweep but no luck.
Leeroy is fighting to break Berserker's control of his arms but Berserker is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Berserker will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Bruce Leeroy has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Leeroy. Berserker shrugs it off though.
Berserker walks forward, straight into a front kick from Leeroy.
Berserker looks gassed!
Berserker stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Leeroy.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Leeroy, right into the meat.
Leeroy lands with a nice body kick.
Bruce Leeroy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leeroy thows a body kick. Berserker tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Leeroy goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Leeroy and Berserker are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Leeroy throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Berserker into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Leeroy knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bruce Leeroy!
