Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kid Reefer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Karbowniak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adrian Karbowniak!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Alyssa Summers and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reefer looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reefer advances position into side control!
Reefer is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Karbowniak is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Reefer is controlling him well.

Reefer stands up and beckons Karbowniak to his feet.
Reefer looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Reefer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Karbowniak but Karbowniak pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Reefer works on Karbowniak's body with a couple of short punches.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Karbowniak can do anything to dispel that myth.

You can see the frustration on Karbowniak's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

and Karbowniak takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Reefer lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Karbowniak!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kid Reefer.
Well Reefer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
