Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Take Down (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sigmund Royal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Take Down has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Take Down seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Royal shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Down keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Royal wants to get back to his feet.
Down is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Royal not landing any meaningful shots this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Down wants to improve his position but Royal is controlling well.
Down manages to get to full guard.
Down is pulling down on Royal's head. It's preventing any offense from Royal, at least for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Down's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Royal wants to get up but he can't break Down's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Down managing to control the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Royal throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Royal throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Down sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Down shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Down pushes down on Royal's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Royal looks gassed!

Down is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Down drops an elbow to the side of Royal's head.
Well, if Down is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Down looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Down slows the pace down in half guard.
Down passes the guard and advances to mount!

Down is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Royal is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Royal flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Down anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Royal and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Down slips an arm under Royal chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Down has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Down is squeezing on Royal like an anaconda would it's prey. Royal fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
