Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopes throws a head kick but Zalachenko moves out of range.
Zalachenko lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Lopes closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lopes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zalachenko moves out of range as Lopes strikes.
Lopes looks to land a left hand but Zalachenko moved out of range nicely.
Lopes plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Zalachenko throws a low kick, looking for Lopes's leg but Lopes calmly moves out of range.

Zalachenko moves into the clinch.
Zalachenko just leaning against Lopes, taking a breather.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lopes is looking to break free of the clinch but Zalachenko has double underhooks.
Zalachenko tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Zalachenko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jab, jab by Zalachenko - just one landing.
Zalachenko scores with the left hand. Lopes knows he should have avoided that one.
Zalachenko jabs Lopes to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lopes swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Zalachenko connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Zalachenko throws a front kick that sends Lopes stumbling back into the ropes.
Lopes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lopes on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Zalachenko's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Zalachenko duly obliges.
A punch combination from Lopes misses.
Lopes lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zalachenko throws a leg kick but Lopes checks it.
Lopes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Zalachenko makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Lopes is breathing heavily.
Zalachenko ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Zalachenko fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lopes on the side of the head.
Sloppy strikes from Lopes. Those never looked like landing.
A shot to the liver by Zalachenko. Beautiful body shot.
Zalachenko dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That kick from Zalachenko tenderised Lopes's leg. Lopes is trying to keep his angry face on.
Zalachenko lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zalachenko punishes Lopes's body with a nice straight punch.
Alexander Zalachenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zalachenko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lopes was well out of range. Poor timing from Zalachenko.
Zalachenko lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Zalachenko scoring well with a low kick there.
The crowd cheers as Zalachenko lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lopes doesn't seem phased though.
Lopes drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Zalachenko scores with a hook to the body. Lopes takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Zalachenko has managed to clinch.

Lopes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Zalachenko lands with a thumping leg kick.
Zalachenko is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Lopes rather than just go for the knockout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lopes gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lopes takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Zalachenko connects with a crisp jab.
Lopes moves forwards but Zalachenko connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Zalachenko lands a right hook to the body.
Zalachenko lands the left hand.
Zalachenko bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Zalachenko lands an overhand right.
Lopes has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Zalachenko lands a slapping body shot.
Zalachenko feints and then cracks Lopes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lopes down.
Zalachenko thuds a left hand into Lopes's body.
Zalachenko lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lopes at a distance.
Lopes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The fighters circle momentarily. Zalachenko darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zalachenko fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lopes on the side of the head.
Zalachenko lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lopes's sensitive parts.
Lopes is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A solid leg kick lands there for Zalachenko.
Nice uppercut lands for Zalachenko. That snapped Lopes's head back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alexander Zalachenko dominated that round.

Zalachenko lands a jab to the head.
Zalachenko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lopes sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Zalachenko. Lopes shrugs it off though.
Zalachenko cracks Lopes with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Lopes misses with a double jab.
Lopes goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Lopes takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Zalachenko lands a jab to the nose.
Zalachenko connects with a right hand. Lopes shakes it off.
Zalachenko cracks Lopes with a good jab.

Lopes is rocked!
Zalachenko circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Lopes to the canvas! Lopes doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Zalachenko keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
