Pandora comes into the arena with Best Song, Ever blaring out of the sound system. Chad Mendes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Pandora counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Chad Mendes has been cut.
Ronnie Pandora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mendes misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Pandora scores with the left hand. Mendes knows he should have avoided that one.
A jab from Pandora does it's job there.
Pandora lands a slapping body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mendes takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Pandora rushes Mendes and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Pandora lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mendes backwards.
Pandora landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Pandora manages to break the clinch.
Pandora scores with a jab to the head.

Pandora drives through and clinches with Mendes against the cage.
Mendes looking for a takedown.
Ronnie Pandora has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chad Mendes.
A short uppercut from Pandora.
Pandora pushes Mendes back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Mendes looks gassed!
Pandora lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Pandora lands a left hand.

Pandora's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mendes tries for a takedown but Pandora circles away easily
and Pandora counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pandora sends Mendes crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Pandora is motioning to the referee to let Mendes up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Pandora instigates a clinch.
Pandora lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Mendes takes a shot to the head.

Pandora's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pandora clinches with his opponent.
Pandora lands a shot to the body.
Pandora stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Pandora slows down the pace here.
Mendes is trying desperately to land a takedown but Pandora is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mendes.

Pandora breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pandora scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

That has opened up Chad Mendes's cut even more.

Oooooh!!! Pandora has knocked Mendes down with a huge combo! Pandora steps away and waves a wobbly Mendes back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Mendes is rocked!
Pandora steps in with a hook that catches Mendes right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Pandora follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Mendes looks absolutely devastated.
