Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Damico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jay Medway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Jay Medway!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medway tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Damico manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Damico dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Medway avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A slow jab from Damico misses its intended target.
Damico will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Damico thuds his right hand into Medway's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Medway tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Damico counters with a series of strikes. Medway will be more careful next time no doubt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Damico blocks a head kick by Medway.
Damico ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Medway looks gassed!
Damico lands a big uppercut and Medway crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Medway looks OK. Damico waves Medway back to his feet!
Medway is rocked!
It looks like Jay Jay Medway has been cut.
Damico closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Medway out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lou Damico!
