Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
doet just misses with a punch to the body.
doet displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from dow.
Some wild striking there from doet.
dow tries a head kick but it misses.
dow misses with a body kick.
doet tries for a takedown but dow circles away easily

and dow counters with a nice double leg into side control. doet won't be happy with that.
dow wants to stand but doet is controlling his arm.
doet is not content to let dow control the position.
doet is looking for a sweep.

The ref stands the fighters back up. john dow wasn't doing enough on the ground.
doet swats away the attempt to clinch by dow.
dow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
dow tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but doet paws at him with a jab and circles away.
dow doesn't manage to clinch there - doet circles away.
doet lands with a straight right. dow didn't see that one coming.

doet shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. dow is trying to defend but doet finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

dow is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. doet is aware though and is defending well.

doet closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
doet scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at dow to see if he's OK.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

john doet showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Horrible takedown by dow or perhaps it was just good defense by doet which made him look bad.
A head kick misses from dow.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
dow can't escape the position.
doet blocks dow's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

dow tries to hold on but doet pushes him away.
dow wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
doet biding his time, looking for the opening.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

doet is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. dow knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften dow for a finish.

Well doet has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
