Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blaque Kreed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raul Sanchez is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Blaque Kreed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raul Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kreed has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
A head kick misses from Sanchez.
Sanchez throws a sloppy head kick and Kreed moves out of range easily.
Kreed fails with a takedown attempt.

Kreed feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kreed tries to free his leg and advance position but Sanchez is retaining full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kreed drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sanchez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kreed has Sanchez in his guard.
Sanchez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kreed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sanchez holds on and takes a little breather.

Kreed drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sanchez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kreed has Sanchez in his guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sanchez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kreed controls Sanchez momentarily but Sanchez frees himself.
Kreed pulls Sanchez in close to prevent any damage.
Kreed can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sanchez controls the pace.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Kreed changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sanchez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Sanchez can't do much from the bottom here.
Kreed will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sanchez sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Kreed not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Kreed is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sanchez has managed to free his arm - good work.

Kreed thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sanchez's head.

Kreed wants to work for an arm triangle but Sanchez is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Kreed is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sanchez defends it well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sanchez wants to sweep here but Kreed controlling him for the moment.

Sanchez feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kreed's calf.
Blaque Kreed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kreed fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Kreed shoots in for a takedown but Sanchez shows good takedown defense.
Kreed takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Kreed tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sanchez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kreed somewhat.

Sanchez looks to land a combination. Kreed sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Raul Sanchez seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Kreed takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Raul Sanchez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kreed is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

I've got Sanchez winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
